The White Pillars was the gorgeous backdrop for this event and it was breathtaking. It’s the home of Mayor Bob and Janie Shutt. The event was a great success! Darryl Worley brought Walt Aldridge, Billy Lawson and James LaBlanc singer songwriters and the theme was “Bringing the Shoals to Savannah”. That is exactly what they did and the packed house enjoyed the evening. It started with Ty Jones welcoming the crowd and the fun began. Jay and Diane Barker had prepared a delicious meal that was tasty and presented beautifully. It was spectacular and packed with fun. The singer songwriters went from having us in stiches with Billy Lawson singing Doomaflotche to Darryl touching every person there when he sang Have You Forgotten. All the singer songwriters there did such a great job entertaining the crowd and they were incredible. Starlet Shaw and her team did an amazing job presenting this event. Bob Gilchrist, Executive Director of The Darryl Worley Foundation said “we want to thank all the sponsors and people who contributed to make this event a great success. We are humbled by the people who give to help The Darryl Worley Foundation. This touches the lives of so many people and we are grateful.” Many items were donated to the live auction and Auctioneers, Ronald “Bull” Bain and Clark Jones presented the items! The Songwriters did two rounds of music and the audience did not want the evening to end. They especially want to thank each and every person who sponsored and came out to make this event a success.
